COROS + Stryd → Strava + TrainingPeaks Source of Truth
Make the COROS watch the single recorder and fan out to Strava and TrainingPeaks; trust Stryd for power/pace.
Diagnosis
Let your COROS watch record once and fan out from there: COROS watch → Strava and COROS watch → TrainingPeaks. Trust Stryd for power and pace, COROS watch for the file — and turn off the Stryd PowerCenter auto-post to Strava so your feed and your coach each see exactly one run.
Your setup at a glance
| Role | Assigned to | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Source of truth / recorder | COROS watch | Records the run once. |
| Sensor · power & pace | Stryd pod | Most accurate power and pace. |
| Destination | Strava | Your public feed. |
| Destination | TrainingPeaks | Where your coach sees the workout. |
Data route
This is the fix: which connections to keep and which to switch off.
✅ Enable these
- Stryd pod → COROS watch (power & pace) — Best power/pace into your one file.
- COROS watch → Strava — One run on your feed.
- COROS watch → TrainingPeaks — One workout for your coach.
❌ Disable these
- Stryd PowerCenter → Strava — Stryd PowerCenter auto-post duplicates the recorded run.
During the workout
Do start
- ✓Record the run on your COROS watch with Stryd paired for power and pace.
Don't start
- ✕Don't leave the Stryd app running its own session that auto-uploads.
Step-by-step setup
Account links
- Connect COROS watch to Strava.
- Connect COROS watch to TrainingPeaks (TrainingPeaks → Settings → Connect → COROS watch auto-sync).
- In the Stryd app, turn OFF auto-upload to Strava (Stryd → Settings → Connections → Strava).
Device settings
- Pair Stryd to the COROS watch and set pace/distance source = Stryd.
- Disable NATIVE running power so Strava shows Stryd power, not the wrist estimate.
During each workout
- Start an outdoor run on the COROS watch; Stryd supplies power and pace.
Verify it worked
- Confirm one run in Strava AND one in TrainingPeaks — both from your watch, with Stryd power.
⚠️ Duplicate-risk warnings
Stryd PowerCenter and your watch both post to Strava → duplicate.
Fix: Turn off Stryd's Strava auto-post; keep the watch → Strava.
If TrainingPeaks pulls from BOTH Strava and your watch, your coach sees two.
Fix: Use a single TrainingPeaks source (the watch); disable any Strava → TrainingPeaks sync.
What data to trust
- Trust Stryd podfor running power and pace.
- Trust COROS watchfor the recorded file, distance and time.
You'll know it worked when…
Exactly one run in Strava and one in TrainingPeaks, both showing Stryd power — your coach sees a single clean workout.
Frequently asked questions
How do I send my COROS runs to both Strava and TrainingPeaks without duplicates?
Connect COROS → Strava and COROS → TrainingPeaks, and let COROS be the single recorder. Don't add a second path (like a Stryd PowerCenter auto-post) into the same destination.
Is the COROS fix the same as the Garmin one?
Yes — the recorder is the only thing that changes. Record once on the COROS, fan out to Strava and TrainingPeaks, and trust Stryd for power and pace.
